America is engaged in two silent, civil wars: the people vs the political establishment and the people vs the religious establishment. In both conflicts, the establishment is the minority.
IHOPKC experienced a tragedy 18 months ago with a “pied piper” leader in their ranks who’s story ended with immorality and a murder case. While Mike Bickle and Allen Hood pick up the pieces, we can only pray that they see—that rogue leader only had power because of “establishment Christianity”.
Democrat-Republicrat politics-as-usual are no different. Establishments invite corruption. Organic friendships and unorganized, ordinary people doing daily deeds—these reflect God’s Kingdom.
