God never gives prophesies without choice. He gives conditional warnings. He explains approaching punishment after our choices forced His hand. But He never says, “Doom. That’s it. Just doom. Haha.”
Serenity is the ability to accept things we cannot control. Wisdom recognizes which things we do and do not control. “Doom” is not part of that equation.
Doom and gloom prophecies may sound “Christian” to some. But, people with a life of routine, answered prayer quickly recognize the fake because they know the real thing. Doom and gloom prophecy is actually witchcraft. And witchcraft can easily be defeated through prayer.
