“Overreaching” doesn’t begin to describe the state of the States. Something happens in the hearts of free and honest people when their patience has been usurped and their good nature advantage of one too many times. And, once that line has been crossed, all the powers on Earth can’t reverse the resolve of such an honest people.
This is why honest men need not fear evil. Evil always overplays its hand. Evil always out-reaches it’s limits and doesn’t even know that limits exist. So, then, wicked men may not even know when they’ve lost, making them easier to conquer, utterly.
